Superintendent's Student Advisory Council

The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC) is a forum for youth leaders to directly communicate with the Superintendent about ways to improve conditions for their school community. Student council members identify problems, research solutions, and make suggestions to resolve concerns that impact their education and well-being.

The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council consists of youth representing a cross-section of school students and grade bands. Council members were selected based on leadership skills or potential and typically meet with the Superintendent at least three times per year.
