OUR HISTORY
Mason-Clark Middle School opened in 2007 and was named in honor of the great community members Dr. William Mason and the late Douglas W. Clark. Douglas W. Clark was a great Math educator for over 30 years in East St. Louis and is the namesake of the Math-A-Thon each year. Dr. William Mason was a former mayor of the city of East St. Louis and had been Superintendent of School District 189.
